I mean, yeah go ahead and bash characters, but authors work hard to get where they are and dedicate time and effort… don’t bash them. Yes you have an opinion, no need to go hating about it.

…however Stephanie Meyer is the exception…

1.) No, I love bashing…

I think Meyer is the exception because, while other creators work hard, she’s very lazy with her work (Twilight’s innumerable typos provide evidence).

I don’t think anyone who is a fan of GRRM should be criticizing another author’s laziness tbh.

I don’t buy that typos prove Meyer works less hard than other authors either. It just means she’s not a meticulous writer. And who knows, maybe she’s not good at editing her own work. Most authors aren’t. Once again, GRRM.

I don’t think GRRM is lazy with his work because it takes him years to write. When I meant that Meyer is lazy, what I meant was that she just doesn’t care. She types a few sentences and doesn’t bother with it. 

It takes him years to write because yes, he is lazy. Do you think ADWD would even have been published this year if HBO wasn’t on his back to get it out? He would much rather go to conventions and edit anthologies no one gives a shit about than work on ASOIAF. And when he does, he would rather write tedious world-building than actually advance the plot because that would take too much effort.

GRRM is absolutely a lazy fuck. And like Stephenie, he does not care.

If he cared, ADWD would not have been published in its current state.
