So I’m creepy because I ship a man that actually cares about Dany? Lol, okay. I liked Drogo, but he died. Jorah seems the next best choice for me. I hate all of her suitors, and I loathe Daario. Until she meets Jon, if she ever does, I’m shipping Dany/Jorah.
This. I think what a lot of the vehemently anti-Dany/Jorah people overlook is that Jorah betrayed Dany in the past, before they had a relationship. But when he realized he cared about her, he gave up that easy chance to go home, and he was hers. Not to say that Dany shouldn’t have reacted the way that she did to the truth, when it came out—and it’s pretty clear that Dany forgives him for it, and that her issue isn’t so much that he was formerly a spy as that Jorah won’t put aside his pride for a moment and submit to her. But he gave her his allegiance.
And he loves her. He really, truly loves her. IMO, he’s justifiably suspicious of every other man she meets because they are seriously all creepy people who want her dragons and her power.
I think it’s time to break out my ‘Nice Guy’ word of the day! Because goddamn you two, way to miss the fucking point.
